Gary Platt Manufacturing has been in the casino seating business for 12 years. The founders of the company had over 30 years experience in the casino seating industry in a related company prior to establishing Gary Platt Manufacturing. The company was relocated from Southern California to Reno, Nevada in 1999.

Gary Platt produces seating exclusively for casinos including slots, table games, poker, bar-top, and bingo. The company was founded on the concept that a high quality more comfortable chair would increase player’s “time on device” and as a result, casino revenues. By specializing in casino seating Gary Platt has become the recognized leader in performance seating by casino customers and casino management.

We supply IGT, Bally, and ShuffleMaster with seating for all of their participation games and as a result we are in virtually every casino in the North America. In addition, we have supplied seats directly to over 125 casinos in the US and Canada. In 2000 we engineered a chair for San Diego’s Barona Casino that introduced state-of-the-art ergonomics to the casino industry. That design became the basis for our X-Tended Play series of seating and moved the entire casino seating industry into ergonomics.

Our foam and wood, which is the heart of the chair, is unique in the industry. The foam is injection molded with built in lumbar support and other contours to fit the human form. The seat has a waterfall front edge to relieve stress on the player’s legs. The wood is also fully contoured to match the foam ensuring that neither will break down over time. Our chair frames incorporate Teflon™ glides that make the chair easy to move and more user-friendly.

We are the only manufacturer that uses a steel support bar connecting the seat to the back that runs the entire length of the seat wood to provide added strength and durability. All of our frames are built with all-welded construction which carries a lifetime warranty and stands up to the demands of the 24/7 casino industry.
