Who Is Michael Strader?
Michael studied Finance at the University of Kansas before continuing his education at Pittsburg State University. At PSU, he honed his skills in Finance, Marketing and Economics.
Michael has been an all-star salesman in gaming for 19 years.
He joined Gary Platt Manufacturing in 2019 as Senior Director of Corporate Accounts and OEM Sales.
Prior to his great work at Gary Platt, he worked in one of our sister industries: Slot Machine Manufacturing. He started in that industry as a Territory Manager and worked his way up to Director of Corporate Region.
Although he hasn’t been with us at Gary Platt for very long, he’s already demonstrated a natural aptitude for selling performance casino seating of all types. His social nature makes him a great communicator. His industry expertise allows him to anticipate client needs.
Client satisfaction is always top of mind for Michael, but when he gets some time off, he enjoys golfing, playing baseball and reading.
Michael’s Specializations: Corporate Accounts, OEM Sales & Slot Machine Chairs
Michael started his career in gaming with Anchor Games in November 2000. There, he held the position of Territory Manager. His territory included the upper Midwest – IL, IN, MI, MN, WI.
Michael moved on to IGT as an Account Executive when they purchased Anchor Games in January 2002. He spent eight years with IGT covering the Midwest – MI, KS, MO, IA.
He left IGT for Aristocrat in May 2011 to assume the position of Director of National Accounts. As director, he handled all the corporate accounts in the United States. While working for Aristocrat, he built a results-driven team from scratch.
Michael joined Ainsworth Game Technology in Oct 2014 as Corporate Account Manager. His role at Ainsworth again required him to create a Corporate Accounts Program from the ground up.
Michael accepted a position with Konami Gaming, Inc. in October 2016. As Director of Corporate Region, Michael handled Nevada, Corporate Accounts and Canada.
Michael parted ways with Konami in January 2019.
He now works at Gary Platt Manufacturing as our Senior Director of Corporate Accounts and OEM Sales.
